[LM_NET] TECH---Norton Antivirus--uninstall old or install new over old

My Norton 2006 expires Monday and I prefer to have the CD so I am going to purchase 
2007 ( got a 10.00 coupon so downloading is not an option !).  My question is :

1. do I uninstall 2006 and then install 2007 

                                OR

2. do I install 2007 over 2006
