Hello all,

I am attempting to import patron files into Follett and I could use advice
from someone who has done this successfully.

I exported students from our school database (StarBase) and created a text
tab delimited document. I then ran the Follett patron conversion utility
successfully and tried to import the file into Follett. It worked well,
except for the date of birth, which did not work because it was an "invalid
date format". I changed the format of the field to match the mm/dd/yyyy
format, ran the utility and tried the import again, but that did not work.
I also tried to change the field to text before running patron conversion
utility, but that did not work either.

Can anyone shed some light on this? In the scheme of things I guess I can
live without the date of birth, but I like having it in the record.

Thanks,

Julie Perry
