Hi,
I've poked around a little bit but haven't seen this addressed. Also, my colleague
thought she'd seen an article in School Library Journal a while back but I cannot
find it. I've even gone on-line to their indexing site.
For the last four years we have administered a two hour long Research Practicum
with the goal of tracking how well we are doing in the teaching of research skills.
This is a goal that the school has taken on for accreditaion purposes.
The grading of this proficiency testing takes nine of us an entire day and in
brainstorming how we could streamline the process we wondered if there is such a
thing as an inclusive research skills test. We use the Big6 model of research.
Thank you in advance for all of your ideas!
Donna
