Here's a question for those of you in elementary settings. Do you
shelve the picture/story books about death and dying (and other
difficult topics) in a specially labeled area? Examples: Nana Upstairs
and Nana Downstairs, Everett Anderson's Goodbye, The Two Of Them, etc.
Or do you blend them in among the "regular" picture books for students
to find and borrow during their regular checkout time - and be surprised
and saddened when Mom reads it as a bedtime story? What's your
rationale for either decision?
