Clear DayI've received my information and found the articles. Thanks to Donna Nix:
Both Library Journal and School Library Journal published lists of 100 best books
of the 20th century. The Library Journal article in entitled "Librarians Choose A
Century of Good Books". it was in the November 15, 1998 issue. The SLJ article
was entitled "One Hundred Books that Shaped the Century". I don't have a date on
this one because I downloaded it from the website (I did that in Feb. 2000 if that
helps). The LJ list is mostly adult titles, but has about a dozen children's books
in it. The SLJ list of course, is all children's and YA titles.
