I sent this already to Jill off-list, but others may find it interesting
as well.
That clip is included in a two-hour documentary called "Fred Rogers:
America's Favorite Neighbor" -- hosted by the actor Michael Keaton, who
as a young Pittsburgher worked on the Neighborhood -- which is available
at many public libraries and is eminently worth watching. IMHO, it's a
bit too long and drags a bit toward the end, but there is much in it
that is at least as moving and inspirational as the Senate hearing.
Also, if you're interested, Esquire magazine had a wonderful profile of
Fred Rogers in 1998 that is no longer available on the Esquire site but
is still online via the Internet Archive here:

Enjoy!

Dear LM_NET Colleagues,
For those of you who need a little "boost" once in awhile, or who get
discouraged by the tremendous demands of our profession, I hope that you
will take a look at the video of Mr. Rogers that Jill Sonnenberg called
to our attention. It certainly reminded me of our calling, and
invigorated me to no end.
