Hi: I am an elementary media specialist. A former parent/media center volunteer
is a professional therapy dog trainer. She recently contacted me about the
"Children Reading to Dogs"program.
I checked the LM Net Archives and did find a discussion about the merits of the
program which was helpful.
However, I would be interested in hearing from other elementary school library
media specialists who have actually tried the program, either on a short term or
long term basis.
I am interested in hearing how logistics of the program were handled? Scheduling,
selection of students, time frames, length of visits, duration of program, etc.,
etc.
If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it!
Thank you so much,
Cheri
