Job Opening - Waynesville, Missouri

The Waynesville R-VI School District is looking for a 
highly motivated, energetic library media specialist to 
fully integrate media/technology into the classroom 
curriculum. This opening is for Freedom Elementary School, 
the district's beautiful new school serving 1087 students 
in grades three to six. The person chosen for this 
position will implement full flexible scheduling with 
another media specialist and an instructional technology 
specialist in a technology-rich environment. The media 
center is spacious and inviting with an oustanding 
collection. Administration is very supportive, and annual 
budgets are generous. A district media center provides 
full cataloging/processing and other support services.

  Waynesville School District is in south central Missouri 
in the beautiful Ozarks. We are two hours west of St. 
Louis, and one hour east of Springfield, MO. The district 
enrollment is 5,277, encompassing the Fort Leonard Wood 
(US Army installation), Waynesville, and St. Robert 
communities. Starting salary 2006-2007 was $33,000. For
