Hello all,
My principal came to me this morning to ask me for ideas. There will be
a cultural fair this year held at night in May, and he'd like the
library to be a part of it. His initial thoughts were something along
the lines of a book fair (like Scholastic), and I let him know that book
fairs may take a little longer to set up than we have. But I will be
checking with our local book store to see if we could set up something
informal.
My question for you all is, have you been a part of something like this
in your school? What did you do in the library to support it? Any
ideas for what I should do?

Here's what I've come up with so far:
Small book fair from local bookseller
Display of our cultural materials (this is a strength in our collection)
Introduction for parents to databases, particularly Culturegrams

Other groups are doing jousting and sharing foods they've made.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Kelly
