The annual convention is almost upon us -- and I can't wait. Not
only is it the culmination of my 2 years work on the Caldecott
committee (the N/C banquet will surely be the highlight) but I have
never been in Washington DC.

I would love to know about other LM_NET people who might be
presenting (or signing) at ALA.

I will be signing at the Libraries Unlimited booth on Monday from
1-2:00 p.m. and will have a set of 4 recipe cards from Authors in the
Kitchen: Recipes, Stories, or More for anyone who identifies
themselves as LM_NET people (while supplies last) -- I'd LOVE to meet
some of the names from this list. Let me know if I should "look for
you." :>)

A few days ago Toni Buzzeo reviewed Penguins, Penguins, Everywhere!
by Bob Barner (Chronicle, 2007). ISBN: 978-0-8118-5664-5 -- I know
Bob Barner (and Mary Casanova) will be signing their recent AUTHOR
AND YOU titles at the Libraries Unlimited booth at 10-11 a.m. on
Monday.

See you in Washington DC.
