I just heard an interview on FoxSports radio with Pat Williams of the Orlando Magic 
that included his new book Read for Your Life:  11 Ways to Transform Your Life with 
Books.  It might be worth checking out as a way to connect with kids; he said he 
wrote it because he's very concerned about boys/men and reading.  He's also a very 
popular motivational speaker, and includes stories involving some popular athletes 
in the book.
