Dear friends,
After 7 years in the Library at BHS I have decided to return to the classroom to
teach English next year. I want to thank all of you for having been my mentors
throughout my Library career. I came to this job with very little knowledge and
have learned so much from being a member of this listserv. I took the classes I
needed for an endorsement, but my real understanding of the job of school librarian
came from reading your posts and questions and answers. I have been continually
amazed at the caring and giving spirits who reached out to help me and continue to
help others. I have nothing but the utmost respect for school librarians and I
think my experiences here will really enrich and enhance my teaching.
I have already given my successor the instructions for signing on and will
encourage her to utilize you as I have. I am so grateful for the opportunity to
have 'eavesdropped' on your many conversations. Thank you. God bless.
