A few were interested in my results, so I thought I would post a "hit". I
haven't tried any of the sites yet.

A number of responses mentioned the LDS site:
The LDS church has a wonderful, FREE software program to record and print
out your family tree called PAF 5. PAF stands fro Personal Ancestry File and
5 is the version. You do have to register (name, email) but there is no
obligation, cost, etc. Some members of my genealogy club have been using PAF
since it was in a DOS version. Here is the link.
http://www.familysearch.org/
Just scroll down a bit and look at the lower right hand side in a yellow
box. That will take you to the registration and download page. Although it
was design for members of the LDS church, it has proved itself very popular
among non-members too, due to its ease of use, flexibility and
organizational features. If you are not church member, just ignore the boxes
for sealings, ordinances etc.
