[LM_NET] Target: Do you know this book?

Does anyone remember this book....
 
A children's book published in the U.S. in the early/mid-1970s by a woman whose 
first name might be Susan - the book is about the fjords in Norway and might have a 
character named Anne.  
 
We lived next door to the author when I was a child and she gave me a signed copy 
of the book (which I might actually still have in a box somewhere at home); we're 
visiting friends in Norway and I want to ask them about it/her, but can't remember 
anything else.
