Bar Code Tattoo by Nancy Wein and Jumpman Rule No. 1 by James Valentine were both
popular with my students when they were on my Battle of the Books list last year.
I also recommend The Transall Saga by Gary Paulsen and Marco's Millions
by William Sleator.
