BOOK TITLE: If the world were a village: a book about the world's people
COMMENTS: This book is based on a similar premise to the website "The World as 100
people" that Mary Ludick posted earlier; she suggested that others might be
interested in this book. (Thanks Mary!)
I used this book to intro population pyramids and other discussions at the
beginning of the year when I taught geography. I think I pasted the Amazon link in
correctly. (No, I don't own stock in the
book, I just really, really loved using it).

I have seen the statistics before, but someone has added visuals to the
data

....Really brings it to reality and makes me appreciate how lucky I was to
be born with the resources available to me.
