I have just finished a trial subscription to EBSCO's Literature Reference Database.
I loved it. It included many of the article contained in the various Harold Bloom
and Magill titles. Unfortunately, my English faculty did not like it. They felt
that products like this will not foster independent thinking. On the other hand my
students really love this kind of database.
What are other high school doing. Do your teachers like this kind of product?
Thanks,
Ann
