[LM_NET] MUSIC: ejamming #2

Have any of you  heard about www.ejamming.com?   It is a way for musicians
to get together and jam online  It looks really exciting.  I just heard
about it on the radio and the site was so busy I could not get on.  There
are some great info and tutorials on youtube.  Spread the word to your music
teachers (latent musicians on staff.)  It seems like a great resource!  I am
not connected with them in any way.  I just heard about it on NPR.

Follow-up
I just got through to the site and read more about it.  First of all, it
requires you to download software and I know many of us at schools can not
do that. Second of all it takes a VERY fast internet connection.  They say
they do not recommend it for DSL or cable.  Right now they are in a BETA
trial of the software but eventually they may charge for it.  So.... if you
music teacher has a VERY fast Internet connection and is able to download
the software.. give it a shot.  I would love to hear from someone who is
able to use.
