[LM_NET] Mid: biographies and a good website for famous people

I am looking for strong recommendations for middle school biographies and  
autobiographies. Some of the 8th graders can and do read the adult titles but I  
need some good ones for 7th grade. I have a lot of books but so many of them 
are  rather dry and not of interest to the kids. I would also like a 
recommendation  for a good website so they can explore.
