MY APOLOGY TO THOSE WHO KNOW ABOUT CHAT REF. LIBRARIES
AROUND THE WORLD.
Whenever I am stumped, I also use the Chat reference
services around the world.
Of course, LM_NET is the BEST
I have used several different chat ref. library services
online and I have found them very useful.

Chat reference libraries
This list is for libraries with some form of synchronous or
chat reference services. An exhaustive list of libraries
offering other virtual reference services is nowadays akin
to a list of libraries that offer telephone service; to
search the thousands of library sites which employ e-mail
links or simple web feedback forms, see Libweb
Listed by country, state, and then alphabetically by
institution
Many are limited to their state or countrries only.
I have used the following so far
AskColorado
http://www.askcolorado.org/info/index.html
Australia -
Enquire - (The United Kingodom) Online Virtual Ref.
service)
excellent for British, European and world lit.
Oregonlibraries.net
One thing I like is that they can send the websites via
internet and they pop up on my pc.
Also, chat transcript is emailed.
Full text journal articles are also posted
You can log in as annonymous, if you wish.
If any of you have used virtual ref. lib. chat ref. please
share your experience.
my 2 cents' worth
