[LM_NET] Confessions of a book store stalker

No, it's not the title of a new book...but while visiting Barnes & Noble last 
weekend with my college-age niece, I wondered how many in the field, like me, visit 
book stores?and peruse the wares and see current publications or titles we might 
have missed?? Even though I primarily go in to look for something for myself, it 
never fails when I go into B&N or another book store, I end up whipping out the 
checkbook.? While it is getting "whipped out" to make some purchases, oftentimes 
I'm also taking notes of titles on the backs of my deposit slips.? Tthey get more 
use as notepads than deposit slips anyway...ha...!!? I take down notes of books I'd 
like to add to our library collection (I'm in a Pre-K-3 school) and titles that 
just look interesting and I'd like to read.? Even though they are above our 
children's age level, I especially like to look in the YA section and many times 
get copies for myself to read?of interesting looking books.? 

I also periodically check out Amazon.com (one of the greatest inventions of the 
20th century!) and Amazon.com/uk.
