[LM_NET] TARGET: MSDN Academic Alliance

A techie from our local college recommended that we look into purchasing
Microsoft's Academic Alliance.  I have looked at the website but the
descriptions are very general.  I would like to hear any comments from any
schools/school systems who are using Academic Alliance.

The issue came up because we have a number of different models of computers
running different platforms, not to mention compatibility issues with home
computers for students and faculty.  As I understand it, this would be a way
to have uniformity since teachers and students may use the same programs at
home.
