I am trying to move some photos from an iMac to my PC with an external
drive that originally was hooked to my PC.
Everything appears to go smoothly until I try to open the pictures on my
XP computer. I get the message that the picture can't be opened because
it is in an unknown format or can't be found.
The format is jpg, so apparently the picture is "missing," although the
"size on disk" is around 4KB for each picture.....
Incidentally, the pictures can be opened from within the external drive
when it is connected to the iMac.
Any ideas as to what is going wrong?
