My principal is looking for non-fiction resources for students in
grades 6-12 with low level reading levels. He asked me to investigate
the “hi-lo” or “differentiated” non-fiction books available from a
publisher named HeinemannRaintree.
I would like feedback on HeinemannRaintree “hi-lo” or “differentiated”
books from library media specialists who have worked with these
materials. How useful have these books been with students in grades
6-12?
What other resources for “hi-lo” or “differentiated” texts do you
recommend?
Thank you!
