[LM_NET] Poetry, Short Stories & Essays for Teens

I'm looking for poems, short stories and essays for use in our freshmen
English classes.  The teachers want to move away from more common works
and instead use some writing that is actually aimed at a teen audience.
The themes they're looking for are friendship, communication & personal
growth.

 

I've pulled several books from our collection, but we're rather weak in
these areas.  Any poetry, short story or essay collections for teens
that shouldn't be missed?

 

I'm also looking for works for teens published online, since that would
make accessing them easy for the classes.  I have the Teen Ink site, but
I'm not looking exclusively for stuff written by teens (although that's
okay), but written for them.  I'd appreciate any suggestions for sites
with good quality writing aimed at teens.

 

I'll compile a hit if there's interest.
