[LM_NET] ELEM: book list for youngest

For your youngest students and patrons, you should know about a suggested
reading list specifically for children ages 2 to 2nd grade. 
 
Compiled annually by a committee of school and public librarians, members of
the Texas Library Association's Children's Round Table, the Texas 2X2
Reading List contains not-to-be-missed titles from the previous publication
year. Titles on the 2007 list were published in 2006.
 
Take a look at the Texas Library Association/Children's Round Table web site
 http://www.txla.org/groups/crt/2x2intro.htm , for the current list and all
the annual lists since the first one in 2000. 
 
The list includes parent/child activities in English and Spanish and links
to web sites that support and extend each story.
