Several years ago we had a faculty member die in a car wreck. Quite a
lot of money was donated to the library to purchase books on a child's

Subject: TAR: Book Request dealing with Grief
Hello everyone,Well, the school year as begun, and already I have a
staff member picking my brain for an especially meaningful book to give
as a gift to a friend of hers who recently lost a close relative. She
would not only like to have a book to give as a personal gift from her
to her friend, but also a children's book to be donated to our library
in honor of her loved one lost. I have a few ideas, but I know you
all have great ideas and thought I would see what you had in mind. In
short, I need 2 books. One for an adult, the other a children's book
for our library. (the children's book doesn't have to be about losing
someone close, but could be about family, or love, or something funny,
or just something with a great message) TIA!!
