I had asked for PC programs that would print up catalog cards and
spine labels. It would also have a simple database to keep track of
items as they were added or deleted from a collection. Thanks to
those who replied.

Right On Software http://www.rightonprograms.com

MARC Magician http://www.mitinet.com/MARC%20Magician.aspx

I heard from people who found those programs useful.

Alexandria says that many churches use their program but I think it
has more features than we need right now. Someone suggested that
Alexandria might have a free program but I couldn't locate it. http://

I found the following companies through an internet search:
Library Master http://www.balboa-software.com/ will also print
catalog cards. It says it is "The power tool for creating
bibliographies and managing references, research notes and catalogs!"

Another automation program for small libraries is Resource Mate
http://www.resourcemate.com/ .

Library Media Catalog 7.5 is a program for church libraries. http://
www.newfreedownloads.com/Business/Vertical-Markets/Media-Library-
Catalog.html You can download it free and then pay $74.95 if you
decide to use it.

Library 1.7 is an automation program for churches. It prints catalog
cards.
