Robin,
Unless I know a student had a particularly unusual circumstance, loud or
distracted environment in testing area, rushed for time(bell rang etc.)
computer problem, or took the wrong test I don' t delete them to have them
retake them just because they think they can do better. Of course they, will
the questions are the same every time only in a different order so it is
process of elimination as to the correct answer. Sometimes the test is set
to give them the correct answer so after they take it once they will have
the right answers from the test review.

Subject: [LM_NET] TAR: deleting AR tests for students
I have a question for everyone who is over the AR program in your
schools. I am at a new school this year where I am over the AR program;
I was not at my last school. I had a student come to me yesterday
asking if I would delete a test that she took last year and failed so
that she could retake it this year. Her teacher sent her to me because
I am the one to make all school-wide decision concerning AR. Since I
have only ordered books & tests & installed them before I wanted to see
how the majority handles this. I personally am not an AR champion but
since my school is I feel I need to work this in the best way possible,
therefore, I have come here for an answer. Should I delete a previous
test or no? (my personal opinion at this point is no - until I learn
more). Thank you in advance.
