[LM_NET] TAR: Elem author visit

I am in the process of writing a grant to fund a visit from a children's author for 
our K-5 school here in Western NC. Does anyone have any suggestions for an author 
who is entusiastic and great with children's audiences that would be available for 
our area? I've researched several but have found in the past that this group has 
hidden reserves!!!  Thanks in advance for any help!
