[LM_NET] What works best?

Good Afternoon,
     I am looking for recommendations on what you feel is the best product to use 
to cover books.  I am looking for materials for both hardcover and paperback books 
and something this is easy and fast to use.  Also, I am looking for what works best 
for labeling shelves to make it easier for elementary school students to find their 
own books on the shelves. I hope to find something bright and colorful.  Any 
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
