This is really funny. My husband has said "my bad" for as long as I've known
him, since 1979. He said it came from when he lived in Alabama in 1968 or
so. It's kind of been a family joke, just one of many things he jokingly
claims to have started, because he said he brought it back to Texas and all
of his friends adopted it. Who knows?
