Our school uses Google Earth in the Science department for looking at landforms and
learning about latitude and longitude. We also have used some of the downloaded
overlays for things like the Iditarod race (You can see the race route with all the
mushers placed at recent locations). But be very CAREFUL!! because we found a
Google Earth overlay for the Revolutionary War that showed the Battle of Lexington
and Concord happening at Lexington, Kentucky! Yet another lesson in double
checking the accuracy of information on the Internet.

Hi, folks.

A week or so back I posted a request for information on the ways Google Earth is
being used with students. I specified young students, and received only two
replies. So I thought I would expand the request a bit. Is anyone, at any level,
using Google Earth for instruction in any subject area?

Thanks in advance!
