LM_NET Archive



I am trying to develop a reading program in which students can read AR and non-AR 
books.  (This program is much like the summer reading programs at the public 
libraries).  However, I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to make students 
accountable for non-AR reading because they will not be taking an AR quiz on the 
book.  Some of the teachers will allow a book report for a non-AR book, and it is 
already required in the classroom.  I have logs in which parents/guardians must 
sign, but as you all know, parents sign without really looking at the logs. 
 
Any suggestions would help.  I will collect all suggestions and post a hit.
