Another idea - (I see over 300 kdg. students each week so I have to use this
quite a bit.) When a student tells me that they have heard the story before
I tell them that they are so lucky. There a lucky because they get to hear
such a good story again. I then tell the students who haven't heard the
story before that they are lucky too - because they get to hear such a good
story for the first time. After sharing this with classes a few times they
really start to pick up on it. Before you know they are telling each other
how lucky they are to hear such good stories. It's cute!
