[LM_NET] SEC: Rule of Four Alternative

Good morning all,
A parent has challenged her 11th grade daughter reading the Rule of 
Four for a summer reading selection.  The book is on the honors 
required list.  Do any of you have an alternative recommendation.  The 
English teacher would like something that involves a focus on 
research--preferably contemporary and not the DaVinci Code.  Any help 
would be appreciated.
