Hello,
I am working on writing an information literacy curriculum for the private school
library I am in. It pains me to see that kids do not even know the difference
between fiction and nonfiction! Let's not even get started on the concept of
research!
I want to start in middle school 7-8 and right now I have a library class on a
trimester basis once a week. So much to cover and only 8 weeks to cover it if I am
lucky- many times it gets cancelled due to games and such.
Oh where to begin...?
Anyone have a short curriculum they can share? We only have 3 weeks left of
school so this is obviously for next year.
Thank you,
kim
