Hi-- I just sent this to a person who replied to my plight/rant, but thought you 
who have written before may like to read an "update"...
   
  Thank you for your reply. This has been an inspiration! I have been recharged 
this week with a meeting to discuss long term plans of the library with the Head of 
Upper School - plus your ideas of how I could go to the parents and get them to 
fundraise for me. Yes, it gets hot here, we need a/c units. But we are also in an 
area with great ventilaton- alas it is right near a stable- flies. I will be 
investigating solutions this week and come up with reasonable immediate things that 
need to be done and long range future needs. 
   
  I also just sent out an e-mail to faculty about closing at lunch time and needing 
their help in enforcing this. 
   
  If this doesn't work, I am going back to the PL!
