[LM_NET] TARGET: LCD Projector Recommendation

The student council sponsor just came to me and asked for a recommendation
for an LCD projector that student council could purchase.  I looked in the
archives and the last time someone posted a request for a recommendation was
in 2004 and a posting in 2005 about LCD projector bulbs.  I am therefore
posting a request for your opinions on LCD projectors.  Is there one brand
that you would recommend over another?  And, just as important, is there a
brand that should be avoided?  We are considering ease of use, lifespan/and
replacement cost for bulbs, and features that need to be there.  We have two
projectors on campus now and there is a fight to the finish for them both,
so this offer by the student council is wonderful.  I will post a hit. TIA
