[LM_NET] SHARE: 7 STEPS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND SCHOOL LIBRARIES

Back in February I shared a PowerPoint program at the NW Georgia Media Specialist 
Consortium that I had been working on over the past year and a half.  I have used 
it to present to our system assistant principals, teachers, etc. as a way to 
educate people not in the library field and hopefully help them better understand 
school libraries.  I still hope to present to the BOE, principals and any others I 
can agree to view.
 
You will need to view on a high speed connection due to graphics, etc.  Even with 
our fast connection here at school it seemed a little slow.  It IS NOT in kiosk 
mode so you will need to press the spacebar for transitions. 
 
Go to our school system main website at:  www.floydboe.net
 
Select EMPLOYEE AREA at the top of the screen.
 
Scroll down and look on the right side of the screen for a section labeled:  
POWERPOINTS
 
Select the one labeled:  THE LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER
