[LM_NET] TARGET: picture books for 5th graders

I was hoping for some assistance from this knowledgeable group.  One of our 5th 
grade teachers has a particularly cliquish group of girls this year.  She's looking 
for a short story or picture book that might get the group talking.  Any 
suggestions?  Thanks in advance.
