[LM_NET] TECH: MS Word 2000

I need help. I thought I was pretty good at MS Word, but I've got one now that has 
me stumped.

I have a machine where the toolbars have all disappeared. The screen looks like 
it's in full screen mode, but there isn't a box to close the full screen. None of 
the ALT or CTRL functions work. I tried ALT-V but I can't get any drop down menus. 

I had the Office teacher look at it and she was stumped as well. Any ideas?
