[LM_NET] Digital Video Camera

My new principal is a money getting / spending machine. I need suggestions for the 
following: A high quality digital video camera suitable for filming a nascent 
morning news show. Cost parameters are $1000 to $5000. Any ideas would be 
appreciated.
