Greetings, school librarians world-wide!
My name is Sara, and I'm an MLIS student at the Information School
(www.ischool.washington.edu) at the University of Washington
(www.washington.edu ). My colleague, Jill, and I are preparing to present on
the topic of * blogs and their uses * in schools and school libraries at the
fall conference of the Washington Library Media Association
(http://www.wlma.org/conference2006/INDEX.HTM).
We need your input! So, we've started, yes, you've guessed it, a blog:
http://schoollibraryblogs.blogspot.com/
Our hope is that this blog will serve as a forum for discussing *how and
why* blogs are being used in a school setting. We've started it off with a
review of some neat school-library blogs, so come and see what your
colleagues are up to!
I've noticed a few questions posted on this topic lately, so I hope our blog
will fill an need.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Sara R. Seely
MLIS, candidate, University of Washington
