What is the purpose of the "temp" folders in the My Pictures folder?
Today I noticed a very large "temp" folder at the top of my Picasa2
library.
When I checked the My Picture folder, I discovered that I have four
"temp" folders, one with 4.3 GBs, one with 145 MBs, one that is empty
and a fourth that has over 6 GBs.
I actually store my pictures in folders named for the years when the
photos were taken.
Over the years, I have used a variety of photo programs. I quite often
dump new pictures into a folder on the desktop and them edit them before
moving them the appropriate folder in the My Pictures folder.
Do I need these "temp" folders?
Can I safely delete them?
