Two teachers of my school are already asking about doing a fund raiser for
the catastrophic tragedy with Katrina.
They raised money for Floyd in 2000 when our town was hit in NJ.
Ideas being kicked a round are:
A fundraising walk. Having a animal petting zoo day (one of our teachers
has many farm animals) to help displaced animals. Adopting a school.
I recognize that as I write halting the ever increasing toll on human life
is the priority followed by the basics of food, shelter and medical care.
However, my thought is that once that happens thousands of children will have to
be educated and where and with what will be the next priority.
Any ideas any suggestions or feedback would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks!
