[LM_NET] TARGET: Who does the cataloging?

Who does the cataloging?  You, a parapro, a (yikes) parent volunteer?  Any comments 
on this topic will be appreciated.  I am at a new school, along with a completely 
new middle school media specialist and we need a little input.  Also, do you find 
the unabridged DDC necessary or is the abridged generally adequate? Thank you very 
much!  I will post a hit when I get, as usual, a ton of excellent, insightful 
replies!
