I must take issue with one of the recommendations someone offered:

Do not even THINK of taping any of the presenters: it is rude,
unprofessional, and possibly even a copyright breach.
Workshop presenters are donating their services for this conference.
The last thing any of them want/need to find out is that a bootleg
copy of their presentation is floating around without their knowledge
or permission.
