I am totally against the cord keepers with the coil. No teacher sits 4-6 feet from
their tv, so what is the point? It just makes teachers rightfully mad. Universal
remotes to replace lost remotes cost about $5, so the coils really are saving you
much. Losing remotes is one of the costs of doing business. Unless the same
teacher loses more than 1 a year, just don't worry about it. If you make them
figure out how to program the new remote, they will be more likely to keep track of
it! You might also point out that if they lose their DVD remote, the programmable
one won't be able to provide some of the functions they want.
