Hello. I have a copyright question. My third graders are taking a field trip
to Monticello, Thomas Jeffersons home. They asked me if they could show a
video on the bus since it will take them two hours to get there. I told them
to be safe, they should show a video that somehow relates to the field trip;
that they shouldn't just pick some random movie to keep the kids busy. And
that it had to be a movie that either the school owns or that someone else has
purchased, not a rented movie. Is this good advice? Should I tell them
anything else? I always get confused when it comes to these types of issues.
Thanks!
